Installation of a New Pastor

The installation of a new pastor within a church is a time for celebration. Our church recently experienced the joy of installing a new pastor, and I had the privilege of making a new pastoral stole as a gift to mark the occasion of the installation within our Church District. Finished Stoles: Fairford Black/Gold

The evening hour is late, and the Ecclesiastical workroom is still out of commission. Thankfully, the set of Pastoral Stoles were completed on time for the parting gift for our vacancy Pastor. With photographic apologies as there is no place to properly take photos at our church, here is the black and gold pastoral stole created for  use on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Orphrey Bands for Altar Frontal

Yes, it is true. The Ecclesiastical Sewing workroom is gone. There is nothing there at the moment except an empty room, with carpet badly soiled from construction dust and dirt. Gone is the cutting table and sewing table, the book-case and the vintage books, the fabrics and trims. It is an odd feeling to have what was an organized workroom completely disassembled.
