September 30th: St. Jerome

Today, September 30th, we celebrate another great church father, a pillar of our faith. This is the feast day for Saint Jerome, who was born in northern Italy. Jerome was born into a wealthy Christian family circa 342 A.D. at Stridon on the borders of Dalmatia and Pannonia. From the earliest of memories, he recalled being taught the Catholic doctrines.
