Are you Lutheran or Catholic?
We’ve noticed some confusion about our company, along with several inquiries regarding our denominational affiliation. I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify. Although the founding family is LCMS (Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod), Ecclesiastical Sewing as a company embraces all denominations.
We employ both Catholics and Lutherans and are dedicated to serving any church in need of classic liturgical vestments. At our core, we are a vestment company, focused on reviving classical, beautiful vestments. We offer a ‘done-for-you’ service, creating handcrafted pieces of art for our valued customers. Additionally, we provide a wide array of patterns, fabrics, trims, appliqués, and more, supporting our creative DIY community.
We understand that we can’t beautify all the churches by ourselves, and if our goal is to contribute to the beauty of worship spaces, we need assistance from at-home seamstresses and monasteries as well. We hope this explanation helps to clear up any misunderstandings.
