Honoring Church Heritage
As a company, our long-term goal is to make a significant impact on the way churches worship. For too long, churches have relied on low-quality, mass-produced goods from overseas factories. These products often feature poor designs leftover from the post-modernist movement of the 50s and 60s. Such designs are typically abstract, blocky, vague, and lacking in detail, which is far from the rich traditions of church aesthetics.
For centuries, the church has used the highest quality materials and designs rich with detail, meaning, and history. It’s time to return to these traditions and be good stewards of what our ancestors preserved for us. Instead of chasing expedient and secular trends, we should honor our heritage.
Unfortunately, we cannot sew for every church…
As a business, we need to make a profit to pay our employees and cover our bills. We refuse to compromise on quality by using low-grade materials or outsourcing overseas, which naturally makes our products more expensive than cheaper counterparts.
We need your help spreading the message. Historically, vestments have been made by members of the church—whether nuns, monks, or women of the congregation. It was never about buying a vestment set on Amazon for $100; it was a labor of love by the church community. This love and care are evident in vintage vestments if you ever have the chance to see them—they’re breathtaking. The same care, love, and effort are what we strive to put into our work as a company.
So, who do you know that might appreciate our mission? Please share our Facebook page or encourage them to sign up for our email list. Bonus points if they’re a sewing enthusiast, as we believe in the value of handiwork, and we cannot complete our mission without them.
Thank you for your support in helping us restore the beauty and tradition of church vestments.
