Understanding Our Vestment Prices
Understanding Our Vestment Prices
We often get comments about our prices being too high! But, there is a reason! We have not addressed this for a few months… Let’s discuss.
Our vestments are expensive. However, some vestments are sold for $30k a piece (IYKYK), others for $30. As a company, we want to be priced in the middle. We strive to be obtainable yet still offer world-class quality. Each piece is handcrafted in the US, using exquisite brocade fabrics sourced from a specialized weaver in the UK. The creation of these garments involves months of meticulous planning and work. There are definitely better options on the market if you’re time and price-sensitive!
Why Our Vestments Last: Investing in Quality
However, there is a cost to fast and cheap. Such vestments are typically made with low-quality fabrics, put together with glue and giant machines by underpaid workers overseas. The time factor is huge as well! While those vestments can be sewn together in less than 30 minutes, ours may take 3-30+ hours depending on what it is. The difference will show over time… The durability, materials, and lifespan of those lower-quality items cannot compare to ours. While they may be cheap the designs are hardly timeless and very often it’s the same designs those factories have been making since the 80s. Not to mention because of the lower quality materials they may last 4-10 years while in comparison if our vestments are taken care of properly there is no reason as to why they should not last 50-75 years. And I can assure you, their profit margins are probably much better than ours.
Restoring Beauty in Worship Attire
So, yes, we are costly compared to some. Yes, we take longer to process and ship than Amazon, and reaching us may be difficult, not to mention the potential high shipping costs, among other possible concerns. But, that’s not what we’re here for as a company. We’re a small, family-owned business dedicated to a singular focus: bringing beauty back into the worship service. Our commitment is to restore the traditional attire of the church. Hopefully, that helps to clear things up? If you have any questions feel free to reach out! We have a long journey ahead, but we are hopeful that we’re moving in the right direction.
If you support our mission to revive classic liturgical vestments, even a simple share can make a big difference! We are incredibly grateful for each of you and excited to serve you. Thank you so much!
