Ecclesiastical Sewing Introduces Ashley
Ecclesiastical Sewing Introduces Ashley
Ecclesiastical Sewing would like to officially welcome Ashley Zerwas to our team. Ashley is Carrie’s only daughter and she has taken a full-time job working for the family business after recently graduating college.
When the Ecclesiastical Sewing storefront opens, Ashley will be helping to run the business behind the scenes. Ashley will manage social media, as well as assist with product development and sourcing. Ashley will also take on the role of Editor in Chief for Ecclesiastical Sewing.
As a part-time job in college, Ashley has been ghostwriting and editing Ecclesiastical Sewing posts for several years. Ashley has a love for writing, history, and research. She will be putting those skills to use by providing articles on a wide variety of topics as they relate to churches, vestments, patterns, and designs. Those posts written by Ashley will be signed “Nihil Sine Deo.” Ashley will also keep you up-to-date with new products that will be offered at Ecclesiastical Sewing in the coming months and years. Like her mom, Ashley will wear many hats in her role at Ecclesiastical Sewing.
Carrie will continue to write articles about vestment construction, Church Linens, altar linens, antique vestments from her collection, and much more. With a new team member on board, Carrie’s focus will now turn toward product development and design. Carrie will continue to sign her article “Soli Deo Gloria.”
We hope you enjoy Ashley’s posts and her role in bringing you beautiful vestments for your faith community. Ecclesiastical Sewing is excited about this new addition to the business. Please join me in welcoming Ashley to our team!

Thank you for your kind words, Tanya. We will be making announcements here as well as on Facebook and Twitter as when new website launches. Thank you for following along on our journey.

Congratulations to you all!
If you are in Europe, you might drop by the cathedral museum of Burgos in northern Spain for a look-see at their collected historical vestments. (I think I remember some lovely ones there, and also at Astorga’s cathedral museum.)
Karen,
Thank you for the information on the Cathedral Museum in Burgos and Astroga. Ashley may be heading back to Europe later this year, and she has added these museums to her list of possible places to visit. They look wonderful.
Blessings,
Carrie
