On point with a V-Neck Stole Pattern
V-Neck Pastor or Priest Stole Sewing Pattern
The V-Neck stole sewing pattern has become a favorite here. We love the pointed back; instead of curing as the other stoles do, this comes to a neat, tidy point. This is a wider stole and can be made long enough to complement height requirements.
Benefits of Making Your Own Stoles
This V-neck stole pattern is not any more difficult to make than a curved neck stole. There are points marked on the pattern to stitch so that the point will come out correctly. The pattern allows for a 5/8” seam. A variety of cross appliques can be used on the back neck seam. Whichever cross is chosen, will have a prominent display when the vestment is worn.
So when you consider sewing a stole, we have a wide variety of pastoral stole patterns readily available for you to start your project! We want you to make beautiful vestments and paraments. To that end, we are committed to providing materials for purchase, but the advice, encouragement, and helpful knowledge are something we will give you; all you must do is ask. Once you have the stole pattern–which has been professionally developed–, you can buy as many stole kits and trims as you need to make as many stoles as you need. Thank you for reading and learning more about stole-making and stole kits. #StoleKitFrenzy
