Which Patterns for Which Stole Kits?

Currently, we have six stole patterns and thirteen stole kit options. This is a fantastic selection!

There, however, is a downside. Only one stole kit can be cut to accommodate all of the patterns. Let me explain:

Silk dupioni, our champion, can be ordered in two sizes. Size “A” is for 3.5” stoles and 4.5” stoles.  And the size “B” is for V-neck stoles, Deacon stoles, Tapered stoles, and 5” stoles.

Size A

Size “A” is all that is available for all the other fabrics: Luther Rose Brocade, Evesham Lurex Brocade, Litchfield Brocade, St. Aidan Brocade, York Brocade, Cloister Brocade, Florence Brocade, Fairford Two Toned Brocade, Fairford Brocade, Ely Crown Brocade, Glastonbury Brocade, and Winchester Brocade. When you select one of these and put it in your cart for purchase, you are only purchasing enough to make a 3.5” or 4.5” stole. The reason for this is the patterns on the brocades are somewhat finicky. (see image below)

Size B

Do not despair! Most if not all of those brocades just listed could be made into size “B” stoles– V-neck stoles, Deacon stoles, Tapered stoles, and 5” stoles. Each pattern of the brocade is different and so must be cut according to that specific pattern repeated. If you want any of those brocades in size “B” stoles, all you have to do is contact us! Carrie will be more than happy to talk to you and get you exactly the right amount as a custom order.
